Scaffold Access to Facilitate with Roofing Works
This commercial scaffolding project within the city centre of Edinburgh required approximately 250m2 of scaffold to be erected to the front elevation of the building. The scaffold was to allow our partners Apex Roofing Contracts to carry out a full roof overhaul.
After an investigation by Apex, it was determined that further work was required on the chimney so a re-visit was required to add further scaffolding access to the chimney breast to allow the team to fix it.
Due to the location of the scaffold, the small access tower was removed during the festive period to ensure that the higher levels of footfall from the public walking in this location would not be impeded by the scaffold.
This project was successfully completed and scaffolding was removed in January 2024 within one working day.
