Front, Rear, and Internal Scaffolds
This commercial scaffolding project in Edinburgh’s New Town by Dragon Developments commenced in October 2023 to enable full renovation of the building and for advertisement.
Progressing on the rear side of the building this large-scale multi-lift, fully boarded scaffold tower was erected by AMF. We provided loading bays, 2x rubbish shoots, netting for preventing debris from dropping, and access ways up onto the roof to allow cupola replacement.
The front elevation provided multiple lifts which were fully boarded. However, it was built to a design drawing due to it having an advertisement covering the full façade. Significant extra ties and bracing were required throughout to ensure that any significant wind loading of the scaffold was counteracted.
We have also provided internal access scaffolds for the Cupola replacements which added a further 200m2 of scaffolding to this ongoing project with our partners Dragon Developments.
